I have been a carpenter since 2008 when I graduated Pennsylvania College of Technology with an Associates degree in ‘Construction Science’. Since then I have had so many beautiful opportunities to work in both the residential and commercial fields. The best part of sharing in the profession of our Lord Jesus and St. Joseph is how humbling it truly is. To have opportunities to encounter so many beautiful people, to be able to glorify God with the quality of your work (the best you have that day), to offer up the days toils for intentions, and to be called to a level of meekness through serving that is unheard of in today’s standards. This profession is all about serving; serving the people who call, serving God by ‘putting devotion to duty before my own inclinations’, and serving my family by living with a type of moderation that doesn’t allow work to consume me.
I’m excited to see how the Holy Spirit moves in me to shape this company into something even greater for the kingdom of God, day by day.
